Nexo has been announced as the Official Crypto Partner of the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel-Oppo, marking its continued expansion in Latin America.

The move comes after the company’s earlier sponsorship of the Acapulco Open and reflects its growing presence in the region.

With a live audience of 35,000 expected at the tournament, the event offers Nexo a key platform to engage with Latin America’s rapidly expanding digital asset user base.

Nexo is also collaborating with local tennis talent Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez.

The rising star is set to play a central role in the company’s presence at the event, which includes a series of activations and initiatives aimed at tournament attendees.

Nexo said Pacheco Mendez represents the values it supports—performance, ambition, and long-term potential—and the partnership signals its focus on backing emerging talent while building deeper ties with the region’s digitally savvy audience.

Commenting on the partnership, Pacheco Mendez said:

Partnering with Nexo goes beyond supporting tennis for me. The company believes in the journey and effort behind success. Like in sport, building something meaningful takes time, focus, and the right mindset. I’m proud to be working with a firm that celebrates growth, persistence, and the next generation – both of athletes and investors.”

Nexo said its partnership with the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel-Oppo is part of its broader effort to enhance the premium experience associated with its digital assets wealth platform.

“Tennis is a game of foresight, resilience, and execution, and the same goes for wealth creation,” said Kosta Kantchev, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Nexo.

“Our return to the ATP stage reaffirms our belief in building enduring success through experiences that reflect the values of championship tennis: strategy, vision, and commitment. We are especially honored to partner with Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez, whose talent, determination, and rising trajectory so powerfully embody the values we hold dear at Nexo. His presence strengthens our shared values of growth and excellence.”

As part of its presence at the tournament, the company has set up an exclusive lounge for Nexo Private clients, offering a space to relax and hold strategic discussions. The activation also includes private tennis clinics, allowing select clients to play alongside top athletes.

Through investments in high-profile events with strong local relevance, Nexo aims to strengthen its position in Latin America and reinforce the value it offers to clients of its wealth platform.
