GoMining’s GoBTC Pay Launches WooCommerce Plugin to…

GoBTC Pay, the on-chain Bitcoin payment service developed by GoMining, has launched an official WooCommerce plugin, allowing online merchants to accept Bitcoin payments directly through their WordPress stores.

The plugin has been approved and published in the official WordPress Plugin Directory, making it available for free to merchants using WooCommerce.

The integration allows store owners to add Bitcoin as a checkout option without custom development or complex technical integrations. Merchants can install the plugin directly from their WordPress dashboard, while customers can complete purchases using BTC through the store’s regular checkout process.

Payments are processed on-chain through the GoBTC Pay protocol. The company also plans to introduce instant payment confirmation for customers using a GoMining Wallet in November 2026, potentially making Bitcoin transactions more convenient for everyday online purchases.

The launch marks another step in GoMining’s efforts to expand Bitcoin’s utility beyond mining and investment into everyday commerce. By integrating with WooCommerce, which powers online businesses ranging from independent retailers to larger merchants, GoBTC Pay aims to make Bitcoin payments accessible to a broader range of sellers.

“WordPress is where a huge part of online retail lives, so it was a natural place for GoBTC Pay to go next,” said Roman Yermoshyn, General Manager of GoBTC Pay. “With the official plugin, any WooCommerce merchant can start accepting Bitcoin in minutes, right from the WordPress dashboard they already use.”

The integration also addresses a longstanding challenge for Bitcoin adoption in e-commerce: making cryptocurrency payments easy for merchants to implement without requiring specialized blockchain knowledge or dedicated development resources.

For WooCommerce merchants, the new plugin provides an additional payment method that could help attract Bitcoin users while keeping the existing checkout experience familiar.
