Crypto ETFs Draw More Than $550 Million on August 25 as…

U.S.-listed cryptocurrency ETFs recorded another broad day of inflows on August 25, led by more than $300 million entering spot Bitcoin funds as investors continued rebuilding digital-asset exposure following Bitcoin’s recovery toward $80,000.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs generated $314.3 million of net inflows, according to finalized Farside Investors data, marking their seventh consecutive positive trading session.

BlackRock’s IBIT dominated the session with $284.4 million, accounting for approximately 90.5% of total Bitcoin ETF inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC added $15.4 million, while Grayscale’s lower-fee BTC product attracted $7 million.

Morgan Stanley’s MSBT recorded $4.5 million and Bitwise’s BITB added another $3 million. ARKB, BTCO, EZBC, BRRR, HODL, BTCW and GBTC reported no net movement. The result was slightly below the $337.6 million recorded on August 24 but kept institutional Bitcoin demand firmly positive.

BlackRock Drives Bitcoin and Ether Demand

BlackRock was even more dominant across the two largest cryptocurrency ETF categories. Ether ETFs attracted $179.8 million on August 25, accelerating from $115.6 million the previous session. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for $146.4 million, while its newer ETHB product added $7.6 million.

Fidelity’s FETH attracted another $25.8 million. Every other Ether fund tracked by Farside reported zero net flows for the session.

Combined, BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ether products therefore attracted $438.4 million during the day. Bitcoin’s seven-session streak has now generated approximately $2.57 billion of net inflows since August 17. The sequence began with $297.5 million on August 17 and accelerated to $517.2 million on August 19 and $606.3 million on August 20 before moderating during subsequent sessions.

Ether has experienced a similarly powerful recovery. Farside recorded $186.8 million on August 19, $219.5 million on August 20, $184 million on August 21, $115.6 million on August 24 and $179.8 million on August 25.

The sustained buying has accompanied Bitcoin’s return above $80,000 and a broader recovery across large-cap cryptocurrencies.

Solana and XRP Extend Broad Crypto ETF Inflows

Institutional demand was not limited to Bitcoin and Ether. Spot Solana ETFs attracted approximately $32.25 million on August 25, continuing the strong demand seen one session earlier, when the category recorded $33.49 million.

XRP ETFs added another $23.87 million, accelerating from approximately $13.82 million on August 24. August XRP ETF inflows have consequently reached approximately $80.74 million, more than double the $27.29 million recorded during July.

Across Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP, August 25 therefore produced approximately $550.2 million of combined net inflows.

Hyperliquid products added roughly another $3 million, according to current market reporting, pushing the broader total across those five major crypto ETF categories to approximately $553 million.

The distribution is significant because the latest ETF recovery is no longer exclusively a Bitcoin story. Bitcoin still accounted for roughly 57% of the $550.2 million flowing into BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP products, but Ether captured almost one-third, while Solana and XRP together contributed more than $56 million.

The latest figures also strengthen the evidence that regulated investment demand has returned after a weaker period earlier this summer. ETF flows do not guarantee continued price appreciation, particularly after Bitcoin’s rapid move from approximately $64,000 toward $80,000. But seven consecutive Bitcoin inflow sessions, accelerating Ether demand and simultaneous allocations to Solana and XRP indicate that institutional participation has broadened alongside the market recovery.

August 25’s standout figure was ultimately BlackRock’s $430.8 million combined inflow into IBIT and ETHA alone. With more than half a billion dollars entering major U.S. crypto ETFs in one session, regulated investment vehicles remain an important source of spot-market demand as the rally tests whether Bitcoin can establish $80,000 as sustainable support.
